CEOGC believes in the importance of strengthening Cleveland's communities in order to give families a chance to support and nurture their children in the best environments possible.
The Neighborhood Opportunity Centers (NOC), located in the poorest of five communities in Cleveland, are the agency’s primary resource for the establishment of long-term relationships with individuals and families wanting to learn skills and access services to needed to become self-sufficient. The relationship building begins when an individual, or head of a family, agrees to work with an NOC staff to assess their life conditions and establish goals to overcome barriers affecting their ability to be independent and empowered citizens.
The NOCs provide a variety of community empowering services, such as:
- Family Development
Baby and Mommy Support (BAMS)
No Turning Back (NTB)
Downtown Citizens’ Circle
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
