The basement of the Market Garden Brewery on Cleveland’s west side looked a lot like Santa’s workshop on Friday afternoon, as volunteers from PNC worked with representatives from the Council for Economic Opportunities to build tricycles and wagons for Head Start students.

Dozens of volunteers dressed up in holiday attire and teamed up to build the toys to distribute at the Council’s Head Start sites across Cuyahoga County. Dr. Thea Wilson, Vice President of Head Start at the Council, joined in on the fun and spoke with the volunteers about the Head Start program, and what it means to the students to receive these gifts.

Even though it’s cold and snowy outside now – the students can’t wait to use these tricycles and wagons. Thanks to our friends at PNC for making our students’ holidays a little brighter!
