Beginning June 15th, the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland (CEOGC) will provide nutritious meals to the siblings (ages 1 – 18 years) of their currently enrolled Head Start children free of charge at three Head Start Centers in Cuyahoga County. The Louis Stokes (4075 East 173rd Street), Willard (2220 West 95th Street) and CEOGC Head Start Center (14209 Euclid Avenue) locations will provide a nutritious breakfast from 9:00 – 10:00 AM and a nutritious lunch from 12:00PM – 2:00PM.
The program is expanding this year to serve children at three additional sites – Booker T. Washington Education Center (12717 Superior Avenue), Word of Righteousness Family Life Center (13455 Dressler Avenue) and the Martin Luther King Center (4801 Shaw Avenue).
For further information, please visit one of the locations or call CEOGC at (216) 696-9077 and ask for the Summer Food Program. The program concludes on August 13th, 2010. The Summer Food Service program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and funded through the Ohio Department of Education.
