The Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland takes immense pride in forming partnerships within the community. Over the past few years, the CLE Clothing Co. has become a major supporter of all of CEOGC’s programs.

“I met the team from CLE Clothing Co nearly 2 years ago through Destination Cleveland,” said Matt Anderson, Job Development Specialist. “They believe in our Head Start Programs and our daily mission to help the low-income families of Cuyahoga County, to become self-sufficient,” he said.

The Cleveland-based apparel company’s latest donation came in the form of 250 hoodies, socks and hats as part of its annual Day of Service. This day comes at the end of the company’s ‘Season of Giving.’ According to the company’s website, Between December 1st and December 23rd, when a winter beanie, pair of socks or hoodie is purchased, the CLE Clothing Co. pledges to donate one to a local organization that helps clothe local homeless and the less fortunate. CEOGC is this year’s organization of choice.

“To say that they’re a great supporter of CEOGC is putting it mildly,” said Anderson. “It’s companies like them that enable us to continue serving the community with quality necessities. Something like this is huge during these winter months.”
The workforce development team plans to pass out these articles of clothing during its upcoming open house event on February 21st in celebration of Black History Month.
Thank you to the Cle Clothing Co. for your generosity and continued support!
