Dr. Thea Wilson, Vice President of Children and Families at the Council for Economic Opportunities, joined representatives from PRE4CLE on Tuesday’s episode of “The Sound of Ideas” on WCPN to talk about the expansion of high-quality preschool seats in Cleveland.
Dr. Wilson talked about the importance of those seats, and the necessary task of making the families in those neighborhoods aware of their existence. She talked further about the impact learning-through-play has on preschoolers. She went on to discuss the research that shows children who go to preschool are more prepared for kindergarten than those who don’t. You can find the entire interview here.
