The Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland’s Community Service team recently held its 2019 Community Job & Resource Fair on August 19. The 3rd Annual event was very successful, amassing over 300 attendees in total, including 84 vendors and more than 30 support staff from CEOGC and Tri-C Community College.

“I was very pleased with how the event turned out,” said Matt Anderson, job development specialist at CEOGC. “Everything went seamlessly and I attribute that to all the support we received from our own staff as well as Tri-C.”

The Council received positive reviews from the vendors and attendees about the venue and accessibility. The fair was held at the Jerry Sue Thornton Center on Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus.

“They were great hosts and the venue size helped us garner record numbers,” said Anderson. “I hope we can continue to partner with Tri-C for events like this in the future.”
